Generating Images Using Color Palettes


Generating images using DALL-E is extremely easy! Generating two images that are very similar but slightly different is kind of hard…

One way I’ve been trying to generate consistent images is by passing specific colors in the prompt. Here is an example prompt (pseudo code):

Create an image with these properties {image properties} and these colors {list of colors}

While DALL-E returns images with those colors as requested, about one time in every few dozen, DALL-E will return an image that contains a group of colored squares representing a color palette. When I ask DALL-E not to return colored squares or a color palette, it seems to do so more often than not 😂

Here are some example images that I’ve generated when I either didn’t ask for the squares or asked not to get squares in return. I hope this gets fixed!
